The crumpled vehicle following the six-vehicle collision yesterday
A number of people avoided serious injury following a six-vehicle accident which occurred on the M50.
Gardai released images on social media showing a crumpled silver vehicle involved in the collision yesterday morning.
A spokesperson said the accident occurred a Junction 4 on the busy motorway near Ballymun at approximately 8am.
Three occupants of the same vehicle received minor injuries and were taken to nearby Beaumont Hospital for treatment.
Five people, a spokesperson said, walked away from the collision unscathed.
The collision caused some delays but the wreckage was cleared within an hour.

Three adults and two children were injured in a seven-vehicle collision on the M50 just two weeks ago.
The incident occurred near Junction 4 Southbound and it involved five cars and two trucks.
All of the injured were brought to various hospitals around Dublin city.
Shortly after that accident, a two-car collision occurred at Junction 4 Northbound on the opposite side of the road. There were no injuries reported.
