Gardai are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run which occurred in Hartstown, Dublin on the 3rd of January.
Two woman aged in their 40s were struck by a car at approximately 2:40pm on the Hartstwon Road.
Both women were taken by ambulance to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
One of the women was later pronounced dead, the second remains in a serious condition in hospital.
The occupants of the car, three men aged in their 20s, were uninjured in the collision.
Gardaí are seeking to speak with any witnesses - pedestrian, motorists, taxi drivers or persons travelling in taxis, who were in the vicinity of the Topaz Garage/Convenience Store, Hartstown Road Clonsilla on the 03/01/2015 between 2.30am and 2.40am.
Garda are also seeking to identify the driver of a Taxi who passed the scene at the time of the occurrence of the collision.
