Arrest: Alexander Carlsson
A man suspected in the distribution and receiving of child pornography online told police he is sexually aroused by My Little Pony, a children's toy franchise.
According to an affidavit, Alexander Carlsson, 25, a child porn suspect, he identified himself as a 'clopper' - someone who is sexually aroused by My Little Pony.
The FBI identified the 25-year-old as a suspect in the distribution of child pornography and arrested him on Wednesday.
During an interview with agents, Carlsson admitted he was sexually aroused by child porn and collected mostly images of girls between the ages of 3 and 16, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
He also admitted being aroused by anime pornography in which children are abused.
According to federal documents seen by the Sentinel, Carlsson admitted having a "sexual interest in anime showing the sexual abuse of children and that he was a 'clopper' and had a sexual interest in figurines and pictures depicting My Little Pony toys."
The popular figurines are made in a variety of colors and styles. Each one is stamped with a distinctive 'cutie mark'.
When police executed a search warrant on Wednesday they discovered three electronic devices which contained indecent material.
Carlsson was arrested and is being held without bond at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford.
